Rules and guidelines for posting.

I'll try to keep it simple:

Treat others as ordinary, humble, decent and honest people would like to be treated.
Attack the argument, not the person.
If you think perhaps you're crossing a line, you probably are!
Please post your threads and messages in English (if your English is not good enough, google translate is free)
Please do not use the group to advertise your own group or services.
Don't forget there's an open forum at chess.com where you can start your own threads anytime. We'd like to have some control over the threads that are created on this group, this is, after all, a group about learning chess. Thus, if you're not sure if the thread has to do with this group's main interest, we'd rather you din't start new threads on your own. Chances are we won't close them or delete them though, but it is possible! (added on August 25th, 2016)
Please avoid bringing up topics (even in the notes!) which have to do with Religion, Politics, Adult themes and the kind. Whilst we respect everyone's opinions and beliefs, those topics often result in confrontations and arguments, so we'd rather focus on... chess! (added on September 16th, 2016)
Do not hijack forum threads. If a post is not relevant to the title, it could end up being deleted.
Flaming, trolling, swearing, racism, any form of bullying, posting offensive material and the kind will result in an immediate ban from the group.
Being nice to others takes as much (or as little!) effort as being rude, but the effect that this has on others will amaze you!

Remember, life's short, life's beautiful, chess is beautiful. There's plenty of conflicts, hate and missunderstandings out there. Let's focus on the positives. ;)
