Hello! My name is Gabriel. I am a 15-year-old chess player from Seattle. I enjoy playing OTB tournament chess a lot, but I still like the extra possibilities provided by online chess, especially for training purposes.

WA State Championship, 5/8, 1st place on tiebreaks
WA Open, 4.5/6, tied 3rd place in open section

Notable Achievements:

I was the 2022 WA State Chess960 Champion along with CM Tim Moroney (@othychess).
I won the Challengers section of the 2025 WA State Championship.
I won the Mid-Year Scholastic Cup twice.

Future Goals:

Achieve USCF rating of 2000 by the beginning of 10th grade (complete!!)
Achieve FIDE rating of 1800 by the end of 9th grade (complete!!)
Defeat a 2200+ player in a tournament game
CM title by the end of 2026
