Today is the 40th birthday of Chris Evans, who has achieved global fame as the personification in the Marvel Universe of Steve Rogers/Captain America, having appeared in eleven of the films in the series. Born in Boston, Massachusetts in his teens the family moved to Sudbury and he went to Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, becoming a fan to this day of the New England Patriots. Deciding on acting, he later moved to New York and went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Union Square. Now has 58 screen credits and on his path to the Marvel series he was in Cellular 2004, in Fantastic Four as Johnny Storm 2005 + Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007, also Scott Pilgrim vs the World 2010.
