I've been playing since I was a youngster...  dropped it for awhile and then started playing again when I got a bit older. I first learned by reading Bobby Fischer and moving the pieces around the board. Since the internet it's now a lot easier to find a game. I'm always willing to chat and enjoy meeting new people. I spend my relax time with friends, some bud, and 64 squares. Cool

I'm also a sideline beekeeper, constantly learning more about our friends who supply us with so many good things.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.  -  Albert Einstein

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." – Thomas Jefferson

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

Sometimes when I'm faced with an atheist, I am tempted to invite him to the greatest gourmet dinner that one could ever serve, and when we have finished eating that magnificent dinner, to ask him if he believes there's a cook.

The ten most dangerous words in the English language are "Hi, I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."
