      I am eighty five (85) years old as of August 25, 2024.   I am a retired Ordained Lutheran Clergyman  (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and  serving for over 59 years.   I served as the senior pastor in five (5) congregations in America.    I am married to Barbara over 62 years and we have four (4) grown children and four (4) grandchildren!   

      I love chess and I started playing chess at the young age of 5 in a small town some 5 miles from Portland, Maine!    I wish I had better legs and could play over the board more.  I loved to play chess on Long Island, New York and in the NYC tournaments.    

      I dearly love steamed clams, lobsters, shrimp, crabs, fish, and all of the other delicious seafood!

I have played over 108 ,999 "'three-minute or five-minute games spanning the years 2012 through part of 2024, ." and I seek a goal of 250,000!  The 23rd of June, 2024  I reached more than 109,000!    Fun games, eh?
