Aloha I would like to share with you a unique opportunity that exists among a growing core group of chess Commandos who work together in unison battling our opponents over the chess board in order to achieve as many victories as possible. The Squadron Commandos were formed on October 9th, 2019, and over the last 6 years we have participated in many different leagues, including the 1WL, TMCL, KOTML, KOVCL, TCMAC, KOTML, and the Dragon League. Whilst doing so, we have obtained over 55,000 points in daily matches putting us at the ranking of #125th of all Chess.com clubs.Our win percentage is 73% in those matches and we are ranked in the top 99.9% of all clubs. We have participated in 326 vote chess matches and have acquired 197 points. We have played in 816 events to date, winning 570 of those events with an average participation of 12 players per match. We have 41 players on our club who have obtained over 100 points participating with us, and we are currently participating in 79 tournament matches.Our average rating is 1600, and being a very small club ~150 Commandos, that gives us the benefit of a very high participation rate, and enables us to be successful in almost three out of four matches that we play. We have defeated clubs with well over a thousand players many, many times.The key to our success is active participation and a sense of camaraderie amongst the Squadron members. It is very important to us to have active players on our club and to not just have club collectors, as participation is key. Without the vast majority of our players joining the boards on a regular basis, we would not be as successful as we are.We are seeking players who are preferably in less than 10 playing clubs-- if you are, then it's very difficult for you to be active in our club. (That is unless you're playing over a hundred games 😉). We are also seeking players who diligently watch their clocks, as well as those who are not even tempted to use an engine to advance their win percentage.It is with the knowledge that I have presented above, that we have chosen you to invite to join us in our quest for success.I would hope you would consider it an honor to be a member of our club, and to wear that honor like a badge on your chest (as all the members of the Squadron do).If for some reason you need time off, that is fine. If you become inactive for more than 3 months, you may be removed from the club but the door will be open for you to return once you're able to become active again.
