The U-Knighted Chess Club

The U-Knighted Chess Club was formed on the 27th July, 2012.  We encourage players and persons interested an opportunity to play friendly games of chess against their peers in a low-stress environment. Players of all levels are welcome to come, as help is given to those who need it.We are here to maintain a formal program of instruction to teach the game of chess and to promote and support its educational program through community outreach to increase the awareness of the educational value of chess.  Our mission is:  1. To promote increased knowledge and understanding of the game of chess as an art and as an intellectual sport. 2. To bring together chess players all across Guyana who are interested in the sport and to share their views and understandings of the game. 3.
