Hi! I'm Lula. I’m from Jersey in the Channel Islands, but I live in Paris, France.

I learned to play chess in December 2020 and started streaming chess on Twitch a few months later.

Since then, I have set up and played board 1 for my nation’s first ever Women’s Chess Olympiad team, participated in the inaugural BBC television programme Chess Masters (where I reached the final!) and I am a board member of the Women in Chess Foundation, a charity focusing on making chess a safer place for everybody.

If you’re wondering about my WCM title, I achieved this at the 2022 FIDE Olympiad in Chennai where I scored 4.5/7 games, fulfilling the title requirement. Many people achieve their titles this way.
