I learned how to play at a very young age but never got serious about it till I was laid up from a bad car accident back in 1988. I then studied many openings etc. in books from the library and then joined a chess club that used to meet every other Thursday night at a local McDonalds. Some of the members were members of the U.S. Chess Federation as well. They gave me a rating of about 1200. I'm now over 50 and I am a bit "rusty" I guess you could say. But I'll still give you a good game. Pieces b-4 pawns. Pin-em and win-em. I'll "put the fork on ya", and show ya what "discover" means too!!!!
