I began playing chess as a child.  My highest OTB rating (USCF) was 1921.  I began playing correspondence chess as a medical student since I had very little time for OTB play.  My correspondence rating (USCF) is 2207.  

Lately I have been exploring openings that I have never played and trying unusual variations - sometimes they work!
