I started playing chess 4 years ago at the age of 46. I was asked if I wanted to coach the chess team at my daughter's school. They offered me $1000 off of her tuition, so I decided to learn the game so I could teach it. I found it to be so fun that I decided to learn more about the game and I started playing competitively. Now I can't stop. And I really love teaching the kids. It's a really great game.
