Hi! I'm Kyle. I'm an astrophysics PhD student who likes playing chess in his spare time. I learned the game of chess at 18 years old and am currently trying to improve my game. I hope to apply for a USCF membership in the post-COVID19 era and play in local chess tournaments! 

As a PhD student, my research is focused on measuring the masses of supermassive black holes at the centers of galaxies outside of our own Milky Way. I have a YouTube channel where I make physics-based content, whether it be on solving physics problems, or vlogging my life as a PhD Candidate. Check it out here if you have the time!
