I want to deeply apologize for my inactiveness as of late, especially to my amazing group, the ARC. Because you're all like family to me, I believe it's important to let you know what's happening in my life. Now that I'm starting to actually make money through music, I've made the decision to keep everything as legal as possible. Even if this includes every entrepreneurs' favourite subject, taxes. I am completely serious about doing everything in my power to "make it" as a music artist, so I'm willing to take great measures to do so. Here's an example of what life's like right now, here's a copy/paste of this week's To-Do List:
1. Fill out and send off a Tax ID form from H&R Block.
2. Check with my local Job Services building about forming a business plan.
3. Write out a vision for my brand (2/3 paragraphs).
4. Research advertising another company laws.
5. Visit my local BBB office.
6. Send demos to several record labels.
7. Make/purchase business cards.
8. Meet up with my accounting cousin for coffee to talk about tax laws (call tomorrow).
9. Make an appointment at the Employment Office.
10. Publicly release my official website.
All while still in school... all prayers are greatly appreciated! I believe the most important thing for me right now, is to not only work as hard as I can, but to also have a positive attitude about everything. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. No, I'm not clever enough to come up with something like that, I just quoted Steve Jobs. I still believe in that quote 100% though. This doesn't mean I'm going to give up after the slightest bit of stress I feel about my career choice, but it does mean I'm not going to let it consume me so much so that I have to give up the other joys of life I have (you guys). I hope this message has inspired you. I will hopefully be seeing you around!
A leader and friend
I am a Digital Music Producer and practicing DJ. I produce a lot of original music, here's an original composition of mine:
Please let me know what you think! If you can, please stream me on Spotify! https://open.spotify.com/artist/3TMQ3BF6nYEubfapVTGZe8
I'm a 16-year-old teenager from Missouri. I was born in Italy, but right now I'm living in the US and hope to move to the UK when I'm older. My main hobbies in life are Digital Music Production, DJing, Chess, HTML coding, Kendama and most importantly a lover of Jesus Christ.
I have the USCF rating of 1795 making me the 93rd highest rated person in Missouri. I am currently the 3-years-running champion of my city, Rolla. I went to the Missouri Scholastic Youth Championship in Columbia this year and made 5th in the <9th grade division. I've also got to play a real Chess Grandmaster (GM Yury) a skittles game in a park in London, I lost of course. After the game he told me, ''You're bad, but I was expecting this.'' Ouch! I will have my revenge... Fast forward a year and: How I Beat a Grandmaster I recently checkmated a 2400+ player in less than a second!! I'm never going to forget that. The game was recorded here: This is currently where my chess career is at right now.
I also own a free, online chess club called the A.R.C. (Atomic Rift's Club) It now has over 500+ members! I would really appreciate it if you could check that out, thanks!
I now own a $1,000 music studio and am going into digital music production so I won't be on as much as I'd like to. Of course I can't say I want to become a world-famous DJ and have nothing to show for it. Please watch the track provided above and let me know what you think!
Hey, have you ever wondered what it looks like in the studio when I'm making a song? Well here's what my track "Harmony" looks like...
...and this is what it looks like on the other side of the glass.
If you've made it this far into my bio you shouldn't mind me telling you, "God loves you and Jesus died for you." I was 2, or was it 3? Anyway, a long time ago I was in a horrific fire accident. It 3rd-degree-burned my whole body, burned my eyelashes off and melted my pajamas onto my vest. Doctor said I will never be able to feel with my fingers again. I do not tell you this so that will have have pity on me, I tell you this because it is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. You see, I should have suffered a lot more than I did in that accident, maybe even died. But God deliberately saved me. So whenever I begin to doubt that my life is even worth it, I just think back and remember that fire. It reminds me that I'm here for a specific reason. Therefore, I'm living life to the very fullest. "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9)
PS: I can feel just fine.
