I started playing chess when I was younger after watching those great kasparov v short games on the television. I got an electronic chess set for xmas that year and played it often. Then i lost interest over the years before reading about how much Stanley Kubrick loved the game, i decided to get back into it, and have been playing regularly over the past year. I am still a beginner but learning and i hope one day to be at club master level. Josh Waitzkin is one of chess idols and his chessmaster series has really inspired me to continue playing.
