The chess set you can see is called "Česká klubovka" (Czech clubhouse set), the iconic design comes from 1880's and has not changed much during the course of 3 centuries. The desing on the picture comes from the socialistic Czechoslovakia when the knights were made of plastic (aye socialists can destroy even the chess knights design). The original and the proper klubovka comes with wooden knights. It is being produced until today and every Czech club chess player has grown up playing with these pieces.
And by the way... Russia is a terrorist state.
