boardblind

I love the game of chess and have been playing since I was 6 yrs old. My Dad - an exceptional chess player - taught me the game and never let me win just for the sake of winning. He made me earn my first win against him which didn't come until I was 16 yrs old. I hate to lose, but hate it worse when I make a boneheaded move and lose. I chose the name boardblind because sometimes I cant see the trees for the forest, or the forest for the trees.  Although I take my games serious, I enjoy playing for the fun of it and try to remember that it's just a game after all is said and done.
