Longtime strategy and puzzle game enjoyer. Peak 2041 FIDE (in 2024), 2111 USCF (in the 1990s), USCF CM. Stopped playing when I went off to college in the late 1990s and have recently started again. My medium term goal is to get NM/FM so I can join TT and start giving the IMs and GMs a good scare. I’ve been letting you all eat free for too long!

Favorite time control: FIDE classical (so, 90+30 or slower). Truly terrible at bullet, slightly less bad at blitz, less bad at rapid, less bad at classical. But hey, no one expects Kipchoge to be competitive at 400m, or Bolt to be competitive at 10k

We need a proper chess league in the USA, like they have in Europe. Founding members should include Marshall CC, St Louis CC, Mechanics Institute, CCC, and Boylston CC
