Hi I'm Charlotte, a 32 year old Paramedic. I've been on this site nearly six years now, seen plenty come and also plenty go, including some really good friends but hey ho, here I still am. I learnt chess when I was 7-8, my dad taught me very patiently most nights when my mum was at night classes, I finally beat him after about a year. I'll never forget it, my heart was beating like a drum at the end, I think that's when I became hooked on the game. I didn't really play after the age of 11 until I left University when I started to play online. A 1650 opponent always feels like a pretty even game
If you're one of those silent types that doesn't chat much in a game, walk on, and leave me be.
Apart from chess I love sport, especially Tennis which I'm pretty good at, and Taekwondo, I have a black belt in that. My other favourite is Test Cricket I learned the rules of that from my Grandad, I think it's the ultimate form of the game and don't watch any of the one day stuff really. I support Man. Utd
