Hi there! My name is Katarina, and I am a chess coach based in Salem, Oregon. I began playing chess on my 16th birthday. I moved from playing chess with my peers and teachers in high school to playing chess competitively in the USA and internationally. I am in the top 100 for women in USCF-rated online chess.
I’ve taught chess to adults and children in 1-on-1 settings and in classrooms. I’ve also hosted simultaneous exhibitions.
