     Hello all. I started chess at around 6 or 7 when my great grandpa showed me the game. I loved playing with him but shockingly neither of us truly knew how to play. One day sometime last year or so, I was on a cruise and found a chess board and remembered how fun it was playing with my grandpa. So I sat and played with some people and I was terrible at it. When I was back from my trip I logged on to chess.com and just played and played.

     Eventually I found Gothamchess as obviously that's where everyone starts (joking) and got better. I hit 1000 when I was 13 and found the joy of getting better at chess. So I continued studying and learning and asked my parents if I could go to a chess tournament when I was 1300 or 1400. I go to chess tournaments every now and then but I strive to atleast get out of amateur lol. I want to try to get to 1800 rapid by the end of 2025 and if I get to that point before August then maybe even 2000. Thank you and bye now!
