Winner of the 1988 intramural chess tournament at the Confederation College of Applied Arts and Technology in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada.
Son of Horst Kemper who tied Bobby Fischer when Bobby plaid the ten best players of the Montreal Chess Club simultaneous in Montreal, Canada in the late 60ties. Bobby won the other 9 games.
My Dad told me that he was not even the best player of their club, but a Hungarian gentlemen whom Bobby played in the only on CBC televised game of about 200 which he lost. Bobby got very angry, smashed the board through the studio, stormed out, cursing all Canadians and vowing never to return to our country!
