Hello, dear chess.com user!
I've been studying chess since 2012, but I've been serious about chess only in about May-June 2015. I was born in 2003 and my father taught me how to play when I was around 5-6 years old. I used to play with him and lose miserably. However, the roles soon reversed! I constantly beat my father, which is why I joined group lessons in 2012. I started private coaching in 2015 and I'm now very serious. However, seeing as I started serious chess a little late, I don't get much time now (as of 2017-'18 I'm in Grade 9 in an ICSE school, and it's hard).
My family and I are also affiliated with a non-profit organization called Sevalaya and have taken the initiative to start a chess club for them. Contact @Sevalaya_Chess_Club if you are interested in helping out. I urge you all to at least check out their website.

- Reading (I like fiction and classics)
- Cricket and Tennis (even though I'm not great at either)
