I learned how to play chess on a family vacation when I was 6, and I have loved the game ever since. I have tied for first in the Minnesota K-9 Championship (2010), won the Minnesota U1700 Championship (2011), and the Minnesota U2000 Championship (2014). I took some time away from chess while in college, graduating with a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in 2016.
As an FYI to everyone, I frequently play live games while at work. If after a game I decline a rematch, it is not because I don't want to play again (because in all likelihood I do). I simply need to go back to work/check to see if I have work to do.
