I've loved chess since I was in about 3rd grade.  My parents were in the New York chess club and used to play at home.  I played in college and have been a fair player.  I've done more studying chess than actually playing.   Playing computers isn't rewarding, and it's difficult to find time to play real people in front of an actual chess board.  But chess.com has changed that!  It's great to use the tools on the site and to be able to play many games at once.  I love the default 3 day move limit, which lets me find my own time to play with little pressure.  And I can see my improvment.  Great fun!
