I have just recently got back into playing chess again and I am devoting more time into improving my game. Outside of Chess.com I meet with a friend once a week to play at a local cafe. I also have an battery powered electronic chess set in case the power goes out and I need a chess kick.
The reasons I love chess amongst others are:
- Improves strategic thinking
- Relaxing (most of the time :))
- The buzz of pulling something new and clever out of the hat is fantastic
- It's just plain cool
