Hello everybody!

My name is Nicholas Paltrinieri and I'm a 28-year-old Fide Master (FM) from Italy. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the university of Parma.

Since I was 5 years old I developed an great passion for playing chess. In my career I won twice the Italian nationalleague U18 and placed myself twice as second and twice as third. These results gave me the opportunity to participate at 4 WM and 1 EM. What a great experience! In 2019 I participated at the European Club Cup.

Currently I’m competing in different countrys for different clubs: Rochade Rum in Austria, Freiburg Wiehre in Germany and Accademia Don Pietro Carrera Catania in Italy. I still play in international chess festivals across Europe and I couldn't imagine my life without them!

My max peak was 2360 in 2021 and I already have a IM-norm in my pocket.

As you can imagine by now I love to play, but also to teach chess. I love challenges, so I really enjoy teaching different people. From the opening, to the middlegame plans and the endgames, there is a lot to discover and analyze! I focus on helping people to define a clear plan for the game, recognize different positions and patterns to then be able to play a great game.
