It is what weakened the democratic party of China so much that enough harassment from Russia and the Communist party in china caused it to be significantly weakened. This was combined with the agreement of Japan not to sue the U.S. for dropping nukes in exchange for Japan not having to pay and war retributions. Quite sad how China is often so hated and Japan so admired, and people forget the history behind what all happened. China is still a horrid country, but being Chinese myself, I am often reminded of the cruelties of history. But at least Japan is known for cringe anime and sorts, and china is known for ching chang hanji. Which I am perfectly fine with.
