I am National Master Roland Joseph Perez of the Philippines. I've been coaching different players, beginners up to experts, for more than a decade already. To add further, I've been a Palarong Pambansa (literally National Games) Chess Coach for five consecutive years, helping National Capital Region (NCR) chessers win either a gold or a silver medal each year.

My passion is teaching chess. My mission right now is to help more players improve their games faster or to simply make them enjoy learning chess in the process. My vision is to create an army of chess students that will use chess as a thinking tool and as an excuse to make friends, not enemies, here on Earth. Chess is still a gentlemen's (and ladies' ) game. Sounds like chess evangelism? Hehehe! Joking, just like chess, can be a serious endeavor too. Oh well...
