About Me

Hi! I started competitive chess at 18 (2022), but I’ve worked my way up from a 900 USCF rating in 2022 to 1863 today (September 2025), and I’m working towards NM.

I teach through coaching games: live play where I talk through ideas, explain moves, and help you think like a stronger player. I’ve taught everyone from kids to adult improvers, and I know what it’s like to be working your way up.

Why I’m offering this:

I’m traveling more for tournaments and looking to cover some of those fees while helping other players improve. If you enjoy learning while playing, this is a great way to get personalized tips and analysis.

Details:

Rate: $30/hour
Time controls: G/5 to G/30 (increments welcome)
Best for: USCF or Chess.com Rapid 400–1300, but sparring with higher-rated players is welcome too.

5 sessions for $140 (saves $10) • 10 sessions for $280 (saves $20)
