I am 57 from england, a strong atheist but I like Jesus and christianity very much. I can go to church and listen for hours.
I love hot dogs, fish'n chips, cornflakes, coke, shepards' pie, apple pie, mash potatoes, bacon and eggs, dutch cheese and butter.
Jogging, soccer, cricket, long distance walking, body building, swimming, diving are my favorite sports. Ju Jutsu is my favorite martial art. Yoga is wonderful and revivifying.
I like science fiction and crime fiction above any other kind of literature besides I am an impassioned fan of horror films.
The Rock' n Roll era ( the 40's / 50's and 60's ) and traditional country music are my favorite music genres.
I'm very much interested in most world matters, physics, mathematics, medicine, chemistry, philosophy and bits'n pieces of many other subjects.
If it hadn't been due to a misunderstanding after high school I would have become a mechanical engineer which was then actually my favorite profession.
I love my wife and children very much, they are the reason of my presence. I love my relatives and good friends too.
As far as I can recall I've been playing chess since my 6 or 7 years of ages but theoretically I've somewhat improved my chess knowledge only in the last 10 years.
I speak Turkish / English and some German.

Creating your own training program : (For people who don't have too much time to study hours and hours of chess every single day due to their routine duties and social responsibilities)
- "Little and often" is the effective way to study.
- 15 to 20 minutes a day, every single day.
- Study at maximum concentration.
- Variety is the key. (Endgames, middlegames, opening theory, tactics etc.)
- Keep fit and healthy. You can't play chess when you're tired.
- Play as much as you study.
- Don't be obsessive about chess. Play to enjoy the game.
- If you're not enjoying chess, take a break.
- By the way : "Everyone has his/hers own way for improving his/hers chess understanding."
A good player is always lucky.
You may learn much more from a game you lose than from a game you win. You will have to lose hundreds of games before becoming a good player.
When you sit down to play a game you should think only about the position, but not about the opponent.
People who want to improve should take their defeats as lessons, and endeavor to learn what to avoid in the future. You must also have the courage of your convictions.
