I've been playing since I was a youngster...  dropped it for awhile and then started playing again when I got a bit older. I first learned by reading Bobby Fischer and moving the pieces around the board. Since the internet it's now a lot easier to find a game. I'm a regular on chess.com, I also play alot on a nice friendly site, papaschess.com. I'm always willing to chat and enjoy meeting new people. I spend my relax time with friends, some bud, and 64 squares. Cool

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." – Thomas Jefferson

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

As long as there are guns, the individual that wants a gun for a crime is going to have one and going to get it. The only person who’s going to be penalized and have difficulty is the law-abiding citizen, who then cannot have [it] if he wants protection -- the protection of a weapon in his home.

Sometimes when I'm faced with an atheist, I am tempted to invite him to the greatest gourmet dinner that one could ever serve, and when we have finished eating that magnificent dinner, to ask him if he believes there's a cook.

The ten most dangerous words in the English language are "Hi, I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
