Hi there!

A few words about myself:

I am Maxim Vavulin, an International Grandmaster. My current classic FIDE rating is 2554, and my highest rating so far is 2604.

I hold private, one-to-one chess lessons via Zoom/Skype. Prices start from $40/hour, though discounts are available in case of purchase of a bundle of lessons.

My main achievements:

- European Rapid Champion 2017 (almost 1200 participants, including many strong GMs)

- Silver medalist of European and World U18 Championships

- 14-time Russian youth champion, both in individual and team competitions

General information:

- In 2019 I graduated from the Joint Undergraduate Program in Economics of Higher School of Economics and New Economic School in Moscow (the best undergraduate program in Economics in Russia)

- Currently I am doing a Master of Science in Finance at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy (one of the best programs in Finance in the world)

I can help you with preparation for tournaments/opponents, games analysis, opening repertoire development, improvement of general chess understanding. I am ready to hold lessons with chess players of different levels and ages, both in English and Russian.
