I'm retired faculty at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, in the School of Music as of August 2020. I'm an active freelance jazz pianist/vocalist and amateur artist/calligrapher. Played chess in high school when Bobby Fischer was hot. Hadn't played much since then, but I got back into it in November of 2011 after a Warehouse 13 episode featured a chess puzzle.
