Hello everyone and welcome to my bio! I don’t really know what to put here, but I guess I’ll put my rating goals, hobbies, and things I like:

Rating goals for the end of 2025:

1800 rapid (I made a big jump not long ago, so maybe I'll do it again)

2100 puzzles (I don’t really care about my puzzle, blitz, daily, or bullet too much)

1300 bullet

1300 blitz

2200 rapid

2600 puzzles

Lifetime goals:

2600 rapid (A title maybe?)

Hobbies:

I don’t have too many hobbies, so this should be fairly short:

For sports, I like to play soccer the most. However, my best sport has always been running (like, sub-5 mile before high school, yes I am fast). I love to ski, but I don’t know if I would count that since I was never on a team or anything. I also play a little bit of squash and used to play basketball and golf, but I am not as serious about them. As for what I like to watch, I would say American football and basketball.

For non-sports, I can’t say much. I like board games, chess and otherwise. I am a very strategic thinker, so I like puzzles and riddles and stuff like that. I am similarly good at math, but I don’t always enjoy it the most. Still, with a 99% in calculus as a 9th grader, I was good at it. Another thing I like to do is actually make maps. These are often made-up, and I’ll make ski maps or Botw-style maps or even something else. It's just kind of fun and relaxing for me.

Things I like:

I have two dogs, and I love them a lot. Actually, I like all dogs in general. For you cat people, I do like cats too. I had a cat but she passed a year ago when she was 18. I also had two dogs growing up, but they also died at 16 and 18. :( but I will go on. I like food, and desserts of course (especially ice cream and chocolate). Despite this, I seem to never gain weight and, as mentioned above, can still run a sub-five minute mile. Additionally, I just love to ski, but it is really expensive so I don’t do it much.

My favorite openings:

Always e4 for white and e5 for black, no matter what. Even if you play d4, I will respond with e5. As I said I will always play king’s pawn. If e4 e5, I will play Nf3 and then Nc6 Nc3. I like to play four knights for both sides. However, if I am black and it goes e4 e5 Nf3, I will play Nf6 Nxe5 Qe7, the Petrov with my own variation. If Nc3, then I play Nc6 to transpose into four knights game.

If d4 e5 dxe5, I will bring out my knight and queen in a often successful attack on the queenside. If e4 d5, Nf3 dxe4 and I play the ICBM. I will also play an ICBM variation for the caro-kann. If e4 e6, I will then play d4, and I will do the same if my opponent attempts to fianchetto.

The two openings I hate most are the queen’s pawn and the sicilian. Recently, I have developed better responses to these two openings, so I am fine now, but please don’t play these against me. I mean it don’t.
