I am 42 and a passionate Chess player. I believe my ELO rating is somewhere between 1200–1400 in Rapid. Don't be surprised if my moves look too erratic at times. I don't calculate much. That means I go with my intuitions rather than calculations – not the right way to play Chess but sometimes my intuitions pay off well.

I love trying new things and taking (uncalculated) risks in the game. So if you are a seasoned player you will find my blunders highly amusing. But I learn something new from every single game. It could be how you opened the game, what mistakes you made besides my own or discovering how a certain position can lead to certain consequences. I use the post-game Computer Analysis feature for almost every game I have played and try to understand the inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders the Analysis reports.

Chances are I will give a good fight but I don't fight on if I realize I am going to lose. I don't intentionally disconnect or let the clock run out. I believe there is no shame in resigning.

If you have played me and lost a game or two against me, rest assured that there is no cheating done at my end. It's just that I got lucky or you made serious blunders or that my intuitions paid off once again.
