I learned to move the pieces when I was about 7 or 8. When I was a teenager I played with friends after school. I went to the public library and played there also from time to time. When I joined the military, I played a bit as well. Now after retiring from 30 years of service, I joined Chess.com and play every day. My goal is to learn as much as I can and have lots of fun. I love the challenge and the excitement that the game brings.
