"I play chess like I play life: one blunder at a time. My strategy is simple: confuse myself first, then the opponent. I lose pieces so creatively it almost deserves applause, and I make losing look like an art form. Basically, I’m a pawn with dreams of becoming a queen…though I’ve never made it to the end. My king constantly questions my life choices, my queen sighs in disappointment, and even my pawns give me the side-eye. After all, I’m a chess player. The keyword is ‘player,’ not ‘winner.’ Click, sigh, relief: Man that button’s saved me countless times . I play to win…other people’s sympathy” - smiley_face10
