Hi! My name is Sofia and I'm 10 years old, other then chess l do gymnastics and martial arts (l also like math). Now when l was about six years old l started watching Harry Potter and l really liked the magic chess pieces and how they moved. So l started asking my mom to teach me but she did not know how. So one day my mom gave me my tablet and downloaded the app chess kids. l started doing easy puzzles and watching videos, once l learned how all the pieces move l started playing games and when l got to 1300 on chess kids l joined a chess school where l started taking group classes, where l learned a lot. But when l got to a higher level l started taking private lessons. Now, starts my journey to WCM, right now my CFC (Canadian Federation of Chess) rating is around 1200
