Welcome to the Chess Couch! Founded in 2017, The Chess Couch was started by Colin Stapczynski and his brother, Jeremy, and was part of the first class of Chess.com partnered streamers. In 2025, Alex Chenevey joined the team as the newest co-host.

The purpose of the stream is to reach Chess.com players on a more personal level (answering questions and analyzing their games in a fun environment) while sharing our love of the game!

What will you see on the Chess Couch? Chess.com live streaming of blitz, bullet, rapid games, tournaments, and other Chess.com features… Interviews with titled players and other chess specialists…and most importantly? YOU! Take a seat on the chess couch and talk to us about your chess issues :)
