I only play long time control games - the longer the better, 45 45 as a bare minimum but I would love some 120 30s. I have no respect for

Anyone who starts a game then aborts
Anyone who will resign following an opening blunder or refuse to fight on with a small material deficit
Anyone who will not resign until the utter death in an obviously and trivially lost position [not talking about technical endgames]
Anyone who will refuse to think or make commensurate effort in a game they join, which is tantamount to sandbagging.

If I encounter this behaviour I block offenders and do not give second chances. You will then be taken to Edité Frignim, and electrocuted.

If you need to abandon a game suddenly please explain this before resigning so we can arrange a rematch at least, as a courtesy to me.

On the other hand I adore inquisitive thoughtful and studious players. I will always be interested in collaboration and study groups, analysis exchanges, and all sorts of ways to learn from each other.

I had an ECF rating of 151 a few years ago, and am likely playing stronger than that now - closer to 165/170 as a trend. So I should come out around ~2000 give or take, online.

I'm a big fan of comedy - Peter Serafinowicz, Russell Howard, all sorts of classic British sitcoms, and animated comedy. I have also been a serious Scrabble and poker player.
