I am Deepak Katiyar, a Candidate Master (CM) and CIS AICF Trainer from India. I have experience of over 24 years in playing International tournaments across the globe. Along with an active Chess player, I have also been training aspiring professional Chess players from past 10-11 years.

I have had a peak rating of 2262.

Some of my achievements include:- Recently I won ALL INDIA CIVIL Services Championship 2020 Gold medallist, I am 2 times UP Senior State Champion in 2012 & 2013, I also got 5^th Rank in National Team championship as well as won gold medal on board. Prize in 2018. I also won many ALL India Rating Chess Championship in India as well as in abroad also i.e. I became Champion in Chakratirtha Chovar International FIDE Rating Chess tmt, Kathmandu, Nepal & also participated in different countries i.e SPAIN, Srilanka, Thailand, Nepal.

I am also an experienced Chess trainer having trained students ranging from beginner to advanced level. I focus not only on technical but psychological aspects of the students as well - helping them approach the game in a better way.

I am currently accepting new students. I use online platforms like skype/Zoom and Google meet to teach my students. I am also available for training games.
