Retired from computing, amateur musician; played chess at school in 1964. Have never been near a chess club. I like to chat during games, but still happy if you don't want to. Recently discovered that even when I want to resign, I can still win if I attack, and/or my opponent makes a blunder. This is probably not going to be true at higher levels, where every piece should always be in the right place :-)
