I'm only here to really play chess. I enjoy some of the social sites, but prefer ones that have more of a purpose, so chess.com is a pretty good fit :)
I am a product of my father. He taught me the game as a child, and I have been playing on and off ever since. Somehow I feel as if I used to be better then I am today, but time permitting, I'm sure ill learn back what I lost.
I'm not at all afraid to try new things... openings specifically. I'm still learning them, and the results can sometimes be fun, yet bad openings are often difficult to recover from.
