First learned Chess when I was in 6th grade and inheirited a chess set from an uncle. Played with friends all thru High School during study halls and lunch breaks. Pretty much stopped playing chess after I graduated in '71 until I discovered e-mail chess in the early 90's. Have played on and off since then. I rarely get a chance to play live OTB chess as there are no chess clubs in my area and none of my friends are chess players.
