Games I am touranment strong include Chess, Backgammon, Texas Hold-em poker, Contract Bridge and Hearts. Probably could play Monopoly tourney level but never tried.
I enjoy good long Theology discussions with people of all beliefs. I dabbled with converted to Islam / Buddism. I converted to Catholitism in 2006 from fundamentalist Southern Baptist. I would travel more if time allowed.
I was one of the better tournament players in Atlanta GA in the middle 1970's, having played at an upper "A" level prior to the "upgrade" of ratings. After the upgrade, I had a middle 2000 rating. I played for GA TECH in 1976 Pan Am games in NYC. I "retired" from chess and started playing contract bridge at a high level, then got married and gave up "games" entirely for about 30 years. I am dabbling in chess.com, pondering a comeback to tourneys.
