Christian. Political activist without a political party. I play chess to blow off steam and get my head in order, like it puts me in a right mindframe and shows me whether it's where it needs to be. I learned to play chess back in grade school. I don't use traditional openings whatsoever and just make the game up as I go, I like to innovate with chess rather than playing other people's moves. I'm sure I'd be a better player if I studied, but I just play for fun as a challenge to myself. As I understand it it's very tough to make a living playing chess so I have no reason to diminish the creativity that for me gives the game its unique pleasure.
