I have a few different hobbies outside of chess, I like photography, abstract painting (usually with watercolor), astrology (no not astronomy), and occasionally I like to sing (took about a year of voice lessons). Chess is not the only strategy game I enjoy either, I also like the asian game Go. Don't let the simplicity of the pieces and the rules fool you, while chess goes from complex to simple as more pieces get trade off, Go builds in complexity as more pieces are added to the board. Both games are thoroughly enjoyable in my mind.
On another note there is also my sweet grey Persian kitty that goes by the name Purr-Purr. She will sometimes start purring even if you just look at her.
