Learned as a child. Rediscovered as an adult. 1st Tournament 1987. Served on Missouri Chess Association Board. Editor Missouri Chess Bulletin for 5 years. Directed the Missouri and New Mexico Opens. Coached kids including Master Thomas Gossell.

Trying to get back into it at age 60.

Two years later and I've renewed my Local TD card. Directed the 2017 Missouri Open, and I'm back on the MCA board. My rating has gone up and down about 100 points, and I'm 62 now.

At 64 I've moved to Florida. Sometimes at the Clermont Chess Club. Looks like I'll be a floor TD at the 2018 K-12 Nationals in Orlando. I played in the 2019 U.S. Open in Orlando +3=2-4.
