I'm an amateur chess player living in Washington DC in the United States. Although I've never participated in any organized chess competition, I recently fell in love with chess 960 here on Chess.com. I especially love how the game rewards creativity and improvisation, and gives untrained bums like me a decent chance against international chess players with years of experience.
