I was first taught chess at age 7 or 8 in Virginia Beach by a young genius who took pity on me and my boredom. Unfortunately his big brain didn't rub off on me but the joy of the game did. I haven't played much in my life and lose 98% of the time but chess is the one thing in life that no matter how times I get my butt kicked I don't lose heart and keep coming back for more. Wish I could to apply that attitude to the rest of life. Anyways I saw the French movie 'Queen to Play' recently and became so inspired I pried myself away from 24 hour streaming movies on Netflix and decided to begin playing chess in earnest. Thanks to high speed internet and Chess.com I have the freedom to play anyone at anytime. How cool is that? Namaste =:o)
